Working board and train Tommy getting his reps in. Today's main focus was neutrality to decoy tools such as jerry cans and clatter sticks. If you're unfamiliar with these tools, they're used to distract dogs in protection sports during their obedience routines and add pressure during the protection routines as well.
We start out with using them as engagement cues for the handler so the response isn't focused on the decoy.
What this does for the dog is in obedience is its more of a cue to focus in the handler and in protection, it creates a neutral response.
