0:16 first sign of our civilization. 2:23 the second one. What can happen inside the trains I can only imagine. Nice video.

The trains still have much less graffiti than Italian ones; I have been on trains where even the windows were so platered that you could not see out and had to go to the door to check stations.

Once the Patras line opens and electrified the athens larisis/central station will be packed meaning the other 6 platforms will open bringing it to a total of 10.
@titup24 жыл бұрын
The other platforms may be opened, but whether they are actually needed is another question. London's Paddington dispatches a train every three minutes off-peak from its 13 mainline platforms, and in the rush hour many more limited only by the speed at which they can get trains through "The Throat" where the number of lines drops to 4, and any delay to a train's departure can have incoming trains queueing for a platform to become available; that is busy! Athens has perhaps five trains an hour and needs 10 platforms? I rather doubt it.

"Athens' Larissa Station" Sorry, what are you talking about? The station on the Athens' metro?
@titup24 жыл бұрын
According to my map and Wikipedia it is the name of the station as well as the metro stop.
