They’ve slightly reintroduced the Norwich in 90 on Saturday calls at diss adds on the extra minute or 2 & at Ipswich it sits there for like 5 mins for pathing time so doesn’t catch up with the 18:30 surplus upfront.

Last time I was in Norwich was 2016. In addition to the traction you mentioned there was also top and tail 68 diagrams. Since then Chiltern, Northern, Scotrail and TPE have all had 68 diagrams. Sadly, only Chiltern use them now and with much reduced diagrams.

@@LNER985 Sadly it is, the GEML has lost it's charm when it had the older rolling stock running around the network. I have been to Kelvedon! It was an alright station. You get the stopping trains to Colchester and Ipswich (and Liverpool street) and the non stopping trains going to Clacton and Norwich (and Liverpool street)

Actually there is freight sidings at Norwich used for stone container trains but they probably only operate on weekdays. There are also special trains that operate from Norwich like the York Yuletide Express - you’d have to time a visit well in order to catch one though.

Hi Jarred, the first class on the 745s aren’t great. It’s just an open area with a bit more room. Also from a trainspotters point of view , with the change of rolling stock on the GEML it’s limited the various types of rolling stock (720, 745 & 755). Before there was the 321, 315, 360, 317 and class 90s
