Glad you put this on. I'll be visiting next month. Sad state of affairs, all those machines rusting away. At least I know one can get round the back of the site. Thanks.

Hi. Nice film. Some interesting engines in that yard. Was there any movements while you were there of any engines?

They deserve it. After putting steam locomotives through all that pain and suffering by cutting them up, They will soon know what it feels like and that will be the last thing they ever felt

This video sums up West Coast Railways, a bunch of scrap metal merchants, is it any wonder this company is in the news for all the wrong reasons! They should be closed down.

West Coast Railways has a bright future and there is nothing wrong with what their are doing. If WCRC ended it would mean the end for steam railtours. DB does not do as much railtours as WCRC. We need WCRC more than you know. There is plenty of 20s, 37s and 47s running on heritage lines and on the mainline. Less or more less diesels won't hurt anyone and some of them might not be serviceable condition. That is why some are scrap to give their parts get other diesels in to running and that has been for years with trains and cars. This video was recorded some years gone and some diesels might of moved else where. To be restored and there is nothing wrong with West Coast Railways.
