For anyone reading this they have completely electrified the wires and are testing the electric trains

Yep just testing now. Should be ready by next summer. Gonna be a mix of EMUs, F40PH-2’s and MP36-3C’s for a little bit before they get all the POS EMU sets in. I may go back to this spot when that happens. Just for the mix of trains not for the EMU’s.

@Acerailfan3101 F40PH Why not sell the gallery cars to Metra, Chicago's commuter rail service or any other who needs it or wants to put them to use instead of scraping them? I'm sure they have the technology to improve them for extended lifespan! Its possible!

Yep. Unfortunately for some odd reason they gated off the spot so in order to get in there you have to have bulk cutters and cut the lock or the gate open

Actually they will stop at C.P. Lick just south of Tamien Station at the switch for the Altamont Corridor Express layover yard.
