Trainspotting (BG) - Port Rail diesels on a heavy shunting action in Pirdop

Since October 2019 the shunting process in Aurubis factory in Pirdop was taken by the private railway operator Port Rail. Previously the local shunting operator was DB Cargo Bulgaria (ex DB Schenker rail Bulgaria) and in the beginning I really missed their Ludmilas, which regularly participated in the maneuvering activity there. Port Rail are using class 55 and 06 diesel locomotives, which are also interesting, but I prefer the V100 and the Ludmillas (DB class 232) of DB Cargo.
However, in the middle of 2022 due to the need of a powerful diesel for the shuntings with the heavy copper concentrate trains, Port Rail acquired an ex-BDZ diesel locomotive 07 070 from Tor-Lok of Poland. The locomotive has been overhauled and works perfectly on the heavy shunting duties in Pirdop since several months ago.
In the video you can enjoy mostly of the work of class 55 diesels, but there are also some nice moments with 07 070 which is very interesting with the blue and red livery of Port Rail. Also, till now I didn't believed that there is a smokier 07 series locomotive, but one of Port Rail's 55s disproved me.

От октомври 2019 г. маневрените дейности в гара Пирдоп и прилежащия ѝ комбинат Аурубис бе поета от частния оператор Порт Рейл. Преди това маневрите в завода и гарата се извършваха от ДБ Карго България (бившия ДБ Шенкер) и в началото много ми липсваха тяхните Людмили (т.нар. серия 232 на немските железници), които редовно участваха в маневрените процеси. Порт Рейл използват основно дизели серии 55 и 06, които също са интересни, но пред тях бих предпочел немските V100 и Людмилите на ДБ Карго. През лятото на 2022 обаче поради факта, че 06 явно са прекалено слаби за тежките влакове с меден концентрат, Порт Рейл придобиха един бивш БДЖ-ейски дизелов локомотив - 07 070 от Тор-Лок, Полша. Локомотивът е основно ремонтиран и работи перфектно по тежките маневри с медните влакове вече няколко месеца.
Във видеото ще може да се насладите основно на работата на дизелите серия 55, но също така има и няколко интересни момента с участието на 07 070. Също така не съм вярвал, че може да има някой по-пушещ локомотив от Седмаците, но една от 55-ците на Порт Рейл опроверга тези мои мисли.

It's difficult to say. In the morning and in the afternoon there is more shunting activity. In midday in most cases there's nothing.
