Such a shame that Eysenck chose to use that word "psychotism"... since psychotic in the psychodynamic sense means something entirely different to psychotic in the psychiatric sense. And therefore the public associates"psychotic" with meaning "psychopathic" or cruel, callous, dangerous and unfeeling. When in psychiatry "psychotic" means a person with schizophrenia or mania or depression or otherwise who is just unwell and has lost touch with reality. It doesn't mean they are dangerous or cruel or unfeeling at all!
