I have used two glyph light features mainly. 1. The charging indicator at the bottom 2. The important notification indicator. This comes in handy when I'm at the office and I have kept the phone facing down and in silent mode.

Answering for glyph feature usage: It can help a lot with Zomato orders. That has been the #1 use case. They should focus on integrating with all apps instead of exclusives. I am a Swiggy user primarily but knowing how far away the food is based on the lights at the back really does help when spending time with friends, gaming, in a meeting and much more! That being said, I still think the lights are more of a cool feature than a functional feature. But the phone is so good that not using the glyphs is perfectly alright because the rest of the phone is great!

@@nikhilt3755 back cases can be transparent and nearly all Nothing cases (3rd party included) have a cutout for the glyphs. Understand the meaning of perspectives and opinions before sharing your own. I was very specific about where it can be useful and where it should be improved. AOD takes away more battery and some of us dislike a cluttered lock screen.

The glyph light is not a gimmick actually. It's very useful in DND mode (when u flip the phone on the table) and essential notification is also useful (the glyph lights stays lit for selected notifications until u clear the notification). Also I use the glyph timer on some occasions. Nothing more than that though

Well tbh I used some phones with ufs 3.1in the same price range (it's as advertised by the company not sure though) . The results are actually comparable and 3.1 is not fast as it says (not talking about the premium category). So it's not about what it is on paper, it's about the real case scenario I think. Glyph lights are very useful at bedtime and in silent mood. And these lights make the phone very attractive to others and not just to the user. Because I haven't yet felt the charm of these glyph lights. Yes, sometimes when I look back at the phone, it feels good. But whenever I go to charge the phone my whole mood gets ruined because there is no charger in it. I am very thankful to OnePlus because I already had OnePlus' 65 watt charger, so I charge this phone with that charger. I am really regretting not buying the OnePlus Nord CE 4.

Whenever I am working (in office or home) I simply flip the phone and glyphs do the work. I only have to check the phone when an essential notification is waiting for me. Also, using the completely black wallpaper & Nothing icon pack made the phone boring and that reduced my screen on-time. 7-8 hours on vivo X70 pro to 3-4 hours on Nothing phone 2a.

The clean software experience is really underrated. I switched from Samsung to Pixel for the software - the app recommendations, ads and habit of installing apps in the name of OTA updates are really annoying. And the "Hot apps" on OnePlus is turning out to be the same. My pick would be Nothing Phone or Motorola any day over the others like Samsung, OnePlus, POCO, IQOO, Realme or any other for that matter.

They are not overpriced. FIRST of all, it’s not a chinese brand It's a UK based company. Secondly, not all want a extreme level hardware with poor software at 30k price segment. Nothing provides the cleanest software at this price segment with a decent hardware. That is what most of us cares most.And Samsung provides the same feature at 42k with slightly sluggish UI,creepy Exynos and 25 watt super fast charging. Yeah i m talking about Galaxy A55.
