Cool but you've got latency from one end of the syncing.. every down beat sounds like a flam. Did you want that to sound like that?

I just use the link button to sync them up. And then turn if off when sarted as it always falls out of sync like it has here. Always a bar behind. Or one step behind.

Hey Sergio, Ableton is routed to Traktor's 3rd deck (Direct Thru) via Traktor's Audio 10 audio interface.

The best explanation I've seen so far! Thank you for the video. However, there is something I didn't understood: Is it possible to connect two computers (1 windows and 1 Mac) through ethernet cable so I can use Traktor in one of them and Ableton in the other? Thank you, keep up the good work!

Great video. I have one question. Is it possible to use Ableton effect in Traktor. Example using Ableton’S compressors and eq on Traktor?

Hi DJ Craig, BK in the house! Yes, it can be done, but it would be cumbersome and frankly, Traktor has a great compressor on its master output and quite a few different types of mixer eqs to choose from. IMO, sometimes less is better, as you can concentrate on the music and entertaining of the people. But is all up to you, as I always say "We all have our working style" Josie

Hi Josie , Good tutorial but i'm kind of lost at 17:30 .. i got a midi controller with built in audio interface it's also got a midi out .. is getting the best midi timing only possible with 2 controllors with midi ports or is there a work around ? My goal is to use the APC 40 MK2 to control Ableton linked to Traktor with a DJ controller strictly for Traktor

Hey Dub S, you can use any of the sync options in the video. A USB or MIDI cable. You just have to make sure you set the preferences on both DAWS to the choice you're going with.

Drift and timings will be affected by the link method, and WiFi would generally be the worst reliable etc
