Me and the kids did a number on this patch of turf at my shed door...all day long we went in and out and trampled it to death...well, hope not death. LOL. What I did in this video should help it pop back to life.

That is an interesting fix. A little bit related in that I have an issue with TTTF matting down at times throughout the year. When it quits standing up straight then disease becomes a problem in the matted area. This year I have started a foliar application of Silica every 2 weeks. So far I believe I am seeing my grass standing up much better plus it is really showing a very nice even cut across the lawn. Where we walk off the deck steps seems to bounce back quicker. I am going to continue the treatment.

I was having the same problem in my wheel tracks being ground zero for brown patch in my fescue. Started Using my blower to fluff up the matted down wheel tracks was by far the best solution. But it did teach me a lot about running fungicides in curative mode which in turn took me down the path to prevention the following year. 🙌🏼

I wish I had the time to do all you do Pete. Everything you do and every way you think is next level. Three kids under four makes it hard for me to totally fulfill my yard obsession, but my wife is gracious to let me go the lengths I go to now. Thanks for your videos, I love them.

Yes..at LEAST 2 years... be patient...and lots of irrigation....or hose moving... its been DRY...

That is why I wear old metal spiked golf shoes when I mow lawn. Get them cheap at yard sales and when spikes are worn out, I toss them cause you can't buy metal spikes anymore... works great. And Aerated the lawn same time as I mow....

Good example to all Christians Pet. I did a smoke off and new TTTF in my front yard and side yard. Got a notice from my city water saying whats up we got the reading from your meter and it's off the charts. LOL Babies need lots of water if it's not raining. Whats sad is at my house built in 1955 can't even run two sprinklers very well. So I'm moving hose all the time. LOL I getter done though

What part of North Carolina you from! Am in the Piedmont area. I want to know which seedlings would be best for my lawn Kentucky blue grass or Bermuda?

He’s in the Greensboro area, I’m in the Charlotte area and I have his Tall fescue and it’s the absolute best grass seed I’ve ever used. He would recommend this in our Piedmont area. It’s probably best to stay away from Kentucky or Bermuda if you aren’t ready for a ton of work and water over summer.
