TRANE WRECK | 2 FAILED MOTORS 1 TRANE system | HVAC repair

In today’s video, we have one train system with two failed motors, a failed condenser motor and a failed blower motor. The customer opted for the OEM motor replacement. Pretty simple task at hand. It is a 15-year-old system that we just continue to allow to operate.
Presented the customer with a few options in terms of aftermarket fan motor, OEM, fan, motor, and system replacement in the opted for the OEM fan motor. Ted Cook would be a proud man probably brought a tear to his eye that I didn’t even need to use a poor on either one of these fan motors. After installing the motors, double checked all operations of the system, and everything was relative range.

From a old tech, snip one of the wires close to the bad odfm, use that to pull new ones though, save ya trip. Stay safe.

uuhhh what sense does it make to replace both motors. if the wheels are falling off, you get a new car. I can see it now. "System doesn't work, Evaporator coil leak."

Hi! How do you like to use an electronic collector, or can you make do with pressure probes and an app on your phone when you fill up the air conditioner?

I generally only ever use probes to do any repair, and recharge of the system and find them to be great!

Appreciate it Jose!! It’s a 2021 ford transit 250 T. It’s been great to work out of, and drives great, the seat is actually adjustable and doesn’t feel like driving a bus sitting straight up and down. Couple times the transmission has acted goofy but nothing was found.

Yoo!! So I’m a partner here, so I’m the operator, and service, sales etc lol. it’s just me and a dispatcher right now. But we have a divisor we use, which when we get others on board, they’ll use the method also. With bigger stuff like equipment and warranty jobs it’s all built into the price book in our CRM
