I agree that some of the trans community may have actually been abused in some way, but a predominate calling card for the group as a whole is being a victim, often with no real physical nor emotional abuse other than insignificant parenting methods such as calling a boy a boy and not confirming their identity or normal everyday people who refused their identity base on reality. The break dance dad story comes to mind where her "abandonment" was actually a factually inaccurate story, perhaps created by her mother. Since the girl felt that it was true, as a Hollywood screenwriting liberal, she was given immediate confirmation en masse until she was exposed by her dad. In the end, abuse has been a method of creating gay people in the past, which would have been easier to identify before it became a trans trend.

It's only seems to be in modern western countries that the issue of trans people being the opposite gender and no different from the opposite biological sex is a thing. In older civilisations and most other cultures very effeminate men or those who present more feminine or with a female assimilation are always put into third category. They are seen as neither male or female. For example in Samoa they call them afafine and in Thailand they are called ladyboys etc..They are usually very accepted in their society for being what they are which is very effeminate males. All of them seem a lot happier than trans people in the west who claim to be suffering because society will not accept them as the same sex as their gender identity. Up until this woke period I believed this "Nu-metal" period to be the most cringe. The vast majority of teens that participated in this culture no longer wear JNCO jeans, but still might like those bands. Sure, you went through a phase in adolescence and you might still listen to those bands, but it doesn't preoccupy your existence. I was a hardcore tomboy - thinking in my angst that I could choose. I didn't want to be a girl but my mother did not give up - at 13, she handed me a dress (YUCK) and pantyhose telling me in no uncertain terms to get dressed. As I put those clothes on, I realized suddenly that I kinda liked the pantyhose & dress. My feminism kicked in and I caught up to where most kids (girls) were. I have never been a "girly-girly" and I love doing male things & hanging out with the guys, I have more (maybe equal) male friends than females. My mother worked me through it, I grew up. 😁
