It's very impressive what this program and broadcast team has put together with this coverage in this sport. They manage such a professional product with not much support. They don't even have correspondents to go down on grid, the commentators just have to step out and get that info. Just awesome how committed the whole team is.

Too be honest nascar has had the same car since the 70s man it’s all about the body style for the best draft they wouldn’t want these cars bc they all differ in aero and body style all nascars have the same body but different manufacturer but it would look awesome if they did use cars like these

TA is realistically almost all the same, just different body, most have same tube chassis. The GT cars are where the difference in cars is because they are based on production cars

Never got a shot? He raced BMWs for years and was in the Whelen Corvette DP as well as racing in Trans-am in the Mid 90s when the competition was stacked. He was just a jack of all trades and has driven just about everything out there. That being said you dont get good rides if you dont bring the cash/sponsors with you so I dont know how well funded he was.

@42.34 did Tomy Drissi 'buzz' the motor? In later shots when you see the tacho of other cars in the same part of the circuit they look to be regularly using 1K rpm less. He was doing 146 in 4th where I guess everyone else was already in 5th - @52.31 you can see Ken Thwaits is doing 137 when he changes into 5th.

The black flag here is confusing for the fans. NASCAR, Indy Car, Formula One, IMSA ( another sports car series) all use red flags to indicate a stop to the race and they are all much more known in the sport. Their black flags mean "pit" to a designated car. Trans Am needs to adopt the same colored flag rules as the others..

Hmmm...not a big fan of the short-attention-span director. I couldn't watch Sebring since the camera jumped around the field so much there was no telling what was going on. We'll be getting into a great battle, and then the camera jumps back into the field and we miss changes of the lead. Maybe the director is new and needs some experience...hopefully that's all it is...
