Was a good day at the racetrack. Drove just over 6 hours to see this race . Had the best seats in the house. was on top of the hauler of Team SLR. Just a great day of racing.

@@W123KartSport I was the starter for this race weekend. The best place to start with is corner working for SCCA and NASA. From there, make connections. Talk to track staff and get your name out there while working on your corner working resume. When you have a big enough corner working resume, or you get lucky and there is a need for workers for an event, you can sign up. Through the time working with NASA and SCCA flagging, I have done some NASCAR and INDYCAR pit lane fire safety work, which is a ton of fun. Keep an eye on motorsports reg to find tracks that need workers for a weekend event, and sign up.

God please, let the series come back. It was a dismal fan showing and I tell you what, I don't want to wait another 35 years for a Trans Am at my track. Back in 85 at St. Louis International I was a divisional T&S official with the SCCA. Today, along with my son, I'm just a member. It was glorious to be able to bring him (15 year old) to his first TA and there must be more! Maybe the drivers loved the track and insist on coming back. Fingers crossed.

I was there also. I think if they did a better job of advertising this race, the fan turnout would’ve been MUCH better. I only heard about it because I just happened to be scrolling through the WWT speedway twitter page the day before. Had there been a big build up to this race it would’ve been packed. St. Louis is definitely a racing town.
