Unlike trans women, your biological makeup makes it possible for you to get pregnant, but other factors are affecting that. As for trans women, they are not biological woman; therefore, there is absolutely no way on earth they can get pregnant, because they don't have a vagina and eggs. The 'get pregnant' comment literally refers to trans women only, not infertile women.

God let us make our own choices to weed out the non believers for the war when all is said and done. So yes, it is a choice in my beliefs. I could care less how you want to live your life or any other gay, bi, and A-Z sexual person lives. If y’all want to be public about it and voice your beliefs then why can’t I? What makes your choice/belief right over mine??? Just as mine ain’t right over yours. We all get the freedom to choose the way we live our lives, don’t make yours better than mine, don’t make mine better than yours. Whatever makes you happy. It so happens that I think it’s wrong that people think it’s not a choice just like you think it’s wrong for me to think it is. Have fine being confused forever though! 😜

Most men are unwilling to date transgender women because it goes against their personal preferences. That's why most religions are anti-gay. I realized after talking to my father and his friend that it just goes against people's personal preferences or their specific likes and dislikes. Uterine transplants and pregnancy for trans women isn’t yet feasible. There have been limited instances of uterine transplant having a success rate, the organ is implanted, monitored and then IVF with incredibly close monitoring for the duration of pregnancy and c-section is a must. The delivery is coupled with the removal of the implanted organ.

And the women who don't want kids, or are infertile, which according to the others here is actually pretty common, apparently they aren't women? It makes no sense to me, and I'm not a trans person, know any trans people, and I might know 1 or 2 people who are LGBTQ+, but with changes in school, I never get to see them, and I can tell that this person knows nothing, and makes zero sense.

First, it's either humorous or disheartening to see that most if not all memes are directed at transwomen, as if ciswomen are just naturally more accepting of transpersons (they're not). An equal amount of bigotry comes from women (even lesbians). Secondly, the "get pregnant" slur is not gender-inclusive. I don't know that there is a way to do this. Women who transition to men can't impregnate women. "Go inseminate someone.."? Ultimately though the "get preg" argument is self-defeating, it's not inherently false and raising the point percentage of cis individuals can't procreate does not alter the fact that a transperson underwent a permanent process which destroyed their capacity for procreation. Honestly, I don't understand practitioners of trans surgery. Why does transitioning have to destroy the testes or ovaries? I mean, okay, those organs continue to produce hormones which might countermand one's transitioning process, but most who undergo surgery are at age where no amount of hormone therapy is going to make them seem more like the gender they wish to embody. The conspiracy theorist in me wonders if the medical foundation hoped paying such a steep personal price would dissuade people from seriously considering such a life-altering decision. It's 2020, should we not yet have already devised a solution for people who want children but physically can't have them?

the “what trans women think they look like vs what they actually look like” meme also suggests that trans women (and cisgendered women as well actually) are only allowed to present as very traditionally feminine and girly in order to identify as female. which just... isn’t true. women are allowed to look, dress and act beyond the confines of cultural gender norms because those norms are purely performative. it makes them no less of a woman to defy that.

I hate being 13 and trans. I said it. I hate being super young and trans. People think I’m just confused, and they tell me “puberty changes your brain, maybe it’s just a phase,” but the thing is, puberty is changing my brain. I’m changing and figuring out who I am. I’m no longer confused about why talking about ‘girl problems’ and ‘girl power’ and stuff like that always made me feel weird. It was hidden dysphoria. I felt so disconnected to my female identity as a little kid and never knew why, so I just pretended to be super girly to feel more connected to it, but that made me feel worse. I started to feel weird about she/her pronouns being used for myself when I was in about 4th grade, but I ignored it. Finally, in 6th grade, around the last week or two of November, I knew I was trans. I didn’t feel like a boy though, and I was so confused that I cried multiple times. Suddenly, I met a friend. Their name I won’t reveal, but they were non-binary. I searched up the term and did as much research as I could that week, and decided to try something. I put on 3 sports bras (bad idea, I know. I just didn’t even know safe binding rules or even that binding was a thing back then lol) and looked at myself in the mirror. I held up my hair to make it look shorter and smiles from ear to ear. I looked like me! I felt so happy. But, even if I told everybody all of this, they would still use my ‘faking being girly’ years to prove me wrong. But I am agender. Nobody can take this away from me. Imma copy and paste this to show to my mom lol

PLEAS READ THIS The one that said: Trans women ARE women Get pregnant then. That really hurt me because I can't get pregnant. Not because I am lesbian, not because I'm asexual but because I have a medical condition that means I'm never going to have my own biological child and I went to therapy for years to stop bad feelings about that. Saying real women can get pregnant it does not only offend trans women but it also offends any woman who cant have a biological child.

"get pregnant then" is not only transphobic but also sexist. that person basically is saying women is reduced to our ability to reproduce and that's the only thing we're worth for 😒 also about the metaphor with vegan cat, i've heard way too many stories of parents not accepting their own children when they came out. that metaphor is just plain idiotic tbh

@@puppetseducer Um, plenty of cis women can't have children. Infertility is a thing. Also, there are plenty of cis women who have tokophobia or just generally don't want to shoot a pumpkin out of a hole only about 3x larger than the urethra, lol. That doesn't make them 'not women'.
@fluffystuff500
@fluffystuff500 4 жыл бұрын
@@puppetseducer Sure, but not all of us can or want to have children. Saying pregnancy is what makes you a woman is stupid because that means that nobody is female until they have a child. Childbirth has nothing to do with what makes you a woman. It's part of some people's identities, but it's still not the only part of being female. That reduces us to the same status as a toy since most pregnancies are a product of sex. So yes, it is also sexist.

@@puppetseducer You were saying it wasn't sexist because cis women aren't transgender, when by defining/implying women are only baby making machines, it objectifies and hurts all women, cis or trans. Uteri do not define you as a person, whether you have children r whether you identify as female. Also how about you learn to read because I see you everywhere being cruel and rude for no real reason. I can't tell if you're a troll or genuinely a spiteful person, and I hope it's the former, because if it's the latter, then I just hope you have some deep inner reflection on your behavior and it's consequences.

I live in eastern Europe and I'm surrounded by transphobia. Hearing my close family talking shit about trans people or saying we should be exterminated is the most hurtful. Unfortunately for me, I am nonbinary and I wish I could use gender neutral pronouns and look more androgynous, but as that's not even an option here and it's even more stigmatized than being a binary trans person, I'd rather be percieved as a man. I know I will never be accepted as a nonbinary person where I live, but at least I know who I am and I can feel a tiny bit more accepted on the internet thanks to people like you
