I have leader class grimlock. He is nowhere near as bad as people claim. My only grievance is that his dinosaur mode tail is not long enough and that the tail is entirely composed of his shield and club, that means it could easily of been made longer.... I suppose it's fixable if somebody makes some third party weapons for him.

I do find this retail leader class Optimus Prime to be far better than his FE version which is kinda sad considering that FE one is supposed to be one that was made for collectors.

Got the TLK Nemesis Prime version of the mold. Actually a pretty fun figure with the enhanced paintjob and backpack/wrist modifications

This figure is not as bad as a lot of people have said it is. However I'm hoping that when transformers 5 is released that the design of the Optimus prime toy of this version is perfected just as the first design was perfected through the leader class figure from the ROTF line.

since i JUST got this in, if you really want a optimus figure that evokes the knight like aesthetics, i say grab the japanese exclusive armor knight optimus prime, it has pretty much the same base mold, but with a whole new chest piece, front skirt, forearms, and two that were a surprise to me, a wrist swivel and a face swap gimmick, for 70 to 80, i feel like the shiny paint and knewly added parts to prime are WELL worth the asking price

This Optimus is JUST worth the retail price. $45 here anyway. I like him a lot. CANT WAIT to get AD01. Also, I gotta agree with other people on here, once you have Leader Grimlock in hand, he's not NEARLY as bad as people are saying. He's turning out to be that figure that is really growing on owners, or at least that what it seems on the TFW boards. Myself included. Now, is he $45 good? ....eh, spend that on the AD01 Optimus, IMO.

I honestly couldn't give a cheap if transformers can transform. I just want an accurate robot mode that isint cheap and lame like the old robot replicas. But not hundreds of dollars like the Japanese model kits from dotm

Outside of the Dinobots, the figures for Age of Extinction have been really poor, if you ask me. To be honest, I thought it'd be the other way around, with the Dinobots having the worst figures of the lot. Crosshairs I guess I can understand, a duster coat wouldn't really translate well into plastic form, hell, it doesn't even really translate well in movie form either.

That's because Hasbro knew they would be the ones we would get. Personally I think the dinobots should of all been voyager-class at least. Why do they only get deluxes when they dwarf everything else in the movie? At least grimlock is proper sized.
