I generally didn’t follow the pack preferring to follow my planned routes but when every other rider took the road climb up to the start of CP4 parcour and then have a gradual descent down the off-road track that will hopefully make the parcour as rideable as possible I knew I had to do the same. Luckily I found some food that morning or else I’d have been in trouble. TCR is such a hard challenge to survive and just getting to the finish was reward enough for both you and me, even if outside GC.
