Transcribe! tutorial part 2 of 2 by COH

This is part two of a tutorial on transcribe. Transcribe allows you to slow down music and keep the pitch of the track. Transcribe has many features that allow you to learn music by ear. You can even create your own karaoke. Be sure to check out part I first.

Excellent Video clip! Forgive me for the intrusion, I am interested in your thoughts. Have you heard the talk about - Rozardner Stopping Sounds Reality (probably on Google)? It is a smashing one of a kind guide for how to instantly slow down music by software minus the hard work. Ive heard some super things about it and my old buddy Taylor after a lifetime of fighting got great results with it.

Double click a measure marker and then tick subdivide in 4 (3, 2 whatever) gives you automated beat markers instead of having to make them manually :-) (is an addition to your previous video) I never tried the Fx-stuff like you did here; very good to know about it, thanks!

Not sure if you're still around, but is there a way to jump to a timestamp WITHOUT having to set a marker? I want to use this as a playback for interviews, but I also play with much longer pieces of music.

Chris, this is excellent stuff. Now to put the dots to paper. How do you do this? manually with a pencil and music manuscript or do you use another programme?

I inserted beat marks as you suggested really helpful. However , I realised I made one or two mistakes and need to delete the beat marker and re-enter it. I tried to do this using command z on a iPad but ended up having to start all over again. Could you explain how to do this I using a quicker method. Thanks

This program is able to isolates just one instrument ? if l want to just transcribe the bass guitar for example ..

Question??? In other words, I can download a song from Windows Media Player or RealPlayer Plus into Transcribe and it will give me the notes location on the piano keyboard or tell me what chords are being played in that song? Is this correct?

Do you mean a program that converts audio to sheet music. If so, I'm not sure what program currently can do that well.
