Nice review! The backpack does tab in, took me a bit to figure it out. The lower jaw piece behind the head is on a slider and recesses a bit. Helps to push gently on jaw piece while pulling on big top cowl. Also side cowls tuck in behind shoulders

The engineering on this guy is amazing. Newage made the transformation so much fun and intuitive. He is so good that I'm ordering the EX version and going back to get all the other dinobots EX version as well. I won't go crazy and get all the versions like DLX, however. I don't have a sugar mama like him. 😂

I will eventually get the cartoon version of these dinobots but the like to reissue the toon versions. I have been focusing on getting all the newage repaints I have missed since those seem to be one offs. I have all the current slag variants on preorder except the transparent one. I am really excited to see the shattered glass.

Snarl should only be a couple of months out. Mangmotion already has his video up. I know it's optional, but I'm bummed about the additional Dinobot, as the slot could have gone to something actually G1. If the were desperate to do another combiner, then get the Stunticons out, as they've teased.
