As a heavy equipment/truck mechanic, rebuilding and modernizing A/C systems on old semi trucks was always a favorite job 👌 Very satisfying to see you guys doing things proper, compared to a lot of the garbage on KZbin (i.e. install bare minimum to run/drive, no working accessories, hood stack exhaust..) My favorite build channel for sure

I’d rather take something that doesn’t have working accessories but drives then a vehicle on jackstands that have flawless accessories set up. Not saying that skid factory does that, they are very professional and that is the difference between someone doing it in their drive way and a professional. Not hating on either way of doing it

A few Wednesdays ago I ordered the new Skid Factory T-shirt and a stubby cooler. They arrived in two days. Great gear. I don't want to get graphic on a family-friendly comments section, but the T-shirt was a hit with the lady of the house within minutes of me first wearing it. I'm ruling-out coincidence.

Car air-conditioning systems have a refrigerant that via the compressor is changed from a gas to a liquid, then as it passes through the condensor fresh air flows through the condensor (think small radiator) removing the heat created as a result of the change from the high-pressure change from a gas to a liquid, it then moves through an expansion valve where it returns to a gas and then as it enters the evaporator, fresh air blowing through the evaporator removes the heat (generated as the liquid becomes a gas again) and cool air is blown into the cabin…this process continues as required by the vehicle.😃

Hi Al, you should install a hydraulic brake booster from Mark's 4wd as now you have alot of extra weight in the front end and fined some brake calipers from a 4.8ltr as they larger than the 3.0ltr. the vacuum brake booster doesn't give enough clapping pressure. Power is good but BRAKING is better.....

6:18 just for fun. Airplanes really don't have transmissions but some have constant speeds props, and to control what RPM the engine is at there is typically a lever next to the throttle the pilot can actuate what pitch the auto pitch prop will adjust to maintain the desired RPM, which is kind of like a transmission, different gearing in a transmission allows for either better acceleration or better fuel economy and cruise depending on when you shift gears, in a airplane depending on what performance you want the plane to have for good climbing or speed or smooth steady fuel economic cruise you have different settings which the pilot can adjust the prop speed or constant prop pitch to maintain higher or lower engine RPMs with throttle mantaning engine loads typically measured in manifold pressure like Inches of mercury, PSI or ATA. For example on a P-51 Mustang you have several power settings the pilot is recommended to use... and you adjust those power settings with the prop RPM or pitch lever and throttle... 2400RPM at 35 inches, cruise for fuel economy and engine longevity. 2700RPM at 46 inches, max continuous power for climbing steadily or maintaining decent speed in combat 3000RPM at 61 inches, takeoff power or Military power, recommended not to exceed use of 15 minutes at once or engine damage may result. 3000RPM at 67 inches, War emergency with 130 octane fuel for maximum performance for a maximum of 5 minutes of use or engine damage can and probably will result. 3000RPM at 75 inches, War emergency with 150 octane fuel for maximum performance for a maximum of 5 minutes of use or engine damage can and probably will result.

That aircon fitting squeezer looks spendy!! Suggestion: you could use speccy adhesive to attach a clam shell rubber mount for that hose on the air box. No risk of warping the box seal, and still easy to access the filter with the hose out of the way.
