well explained. icould we use hydro phonic cups to fill the clay balls n use another transparent pet bottle to hold water and keep filling it as and when required. nstead of disturbing the plant every two weeks for changing water.

I don't think it is good for the roots to see light. Perhaps cover the whole thing with aluminum foil ?

Interesting. Im wondering about the roots sitting in water I heard the balls should be wet not and the roots should be above the water What do you think about that?
@dimitristripakis7364 Жыл бұрын
@@domonicka.holloway6041 In my experience, as long as the roots touch the water, they start expanding very quickly. So you don't want to immerse the roots fully, just 1cm in the water. If you immerse too much, increase the risk of rotting. But the best is to experiment with many plants simultaneously. I also take photos every 3 days and compare, that is very useful. Also remember there are no guarantees, sometimes it fails. Always try with many plants, if possible. I am not good in determining how (and if) to change the water, for example. Sometimes they rot after a water change, sometimes they thrive after a whole week with rhe same water. ...
