Idealy it needs a bar mount which I didn’t have at the time but it was more than viewable

I have mine on Evotech mount and does bounce around. Shame not a better mounting option other than on the bars.

That’s the reason I accept this device. I can’t see my Tomtom anymore with my glasses. It’s only the size of the tft screen, it’s need a fixing properly to the mount, I didn’t get enough time to order the bar I neeed

Because Ducati is a failing company cutting corners wherever they can. Sygic paid them to use their trash app on the Multi and Ducati accepted the contract at the cost of the customer.

Good question.. I believe it does if you download your maps to whatever app your running. Your gps IPhone should keep running

I was thinking about one of these for my V4S (Shame we need it with the built in system - but there we go) but I was wondering if I could fit it “permanently” as it’s a pain to have to take all this stuff off every-time you park up. Do you think that could be done by taking the back ball mount off? And do you think it would be theft resistant? I’ve got the Evotec mount as well but I have my Quad Lock charge mount up there at the moment.

I honestly thought Ducati would of teamed up with apple play by now but obviously not. I’ve not looked into all the fitting options as yet but the bracket that comes with it is kinda anti theft but you would need a bar mount for the evotech bracket. Il certainly look into this a bit more and see what’s about. I think at the price of the system it’s a good functional bit of kit

Another great video but I feel the position would cause too much vibration, as seen on the video. I have a similar set up but mounted much closer to the screen so the vibration is a lot less. Another point is with the ease of installation, is it also easy to take it off? As in theft?

When hardwiring to the multistrada sat nav connector, do you need the device’s third cable or just leave it unconnected? I believe it’s the cable that is to be wired to accessory.

On the Carpuride theirs only 2 wires and the same on the multistrada v4 connector

Just bought this for my V4S. Not sure how to best fit it though to make it the most stable. I'd like to have it where you have it as well but cannot find any good adapter for the Evotech Sat Nav mount. Where did you find yours with a ball mount? Thanks!

I’m just been having a mess about with different options myself because I wasn’t 100% happy with my set up I think I’ve got it sorted now, so it would be easier for me to make a update video in the next week rather than try to explain it.

I’ve stopped it by a couple of inches now ( new video in a couple of days) when your actually sat on the bike you are looking over it, the helmet cam makes it look worse than it actually is.

I guess only time will tell. You can buy one on Amazon and return it if your not happy with it, and theirs a 2 year warranty so for the money it seems ok. I don’t generally put products on my channel but I’ve had mates use this device and there happy with it.

they sent me one to test as well, no auto-dimming makes it useless for night riding. Defaults to bright daytime map every time you start it no matter the settings. frustrating. There are better options than Carpuride.

That’s interesting. I personally don’t ride at night and my Tom tom doesn’t work at night very well, but I need to try and test it properly. All I know at this point it’s better than I’ve been using so far. I’m always open to suggestions
