Another phenomenal lesson Charlie. Love the exercise to play the note above and below the chord tones of the 1564 progression. Never could incorporate Triads into solos w/o it sounding clinical. Adding these adjacent notes helps create a smooth sounding solo lines. Thank you.

Update. I practiced the techniques you described over some backing tracks. My biggest critic (my wife) came in and said that's the best soloing I have ever heard you play. Thanks to you Charlie I got an atta boy. You're the best.

Great technique and lesson! Ive been lookibg for ways to link in the caged system boxes to get a more complete picture to work from in my head and i feel this will definitely help! Along with the triads and soloing this is one of the most useful vids I've seen for where im at!!! Thank you Charlie!!! Bless 🙏🕊️

Thank you ! I know all my triads ( maj and min ) and I know the major and minor scales .. But still I don’t know how exactly to ( practice )connecting trials with scale notes . For example you showed clearly how to connect them .. but actually we ( I ) need the process and the method ( the steps) to ( start )doing this . Looks like a silly demanding question but forgive me .. I trust you 🎉 .

Charlie, if you're playing in the key of E would you use C, F, & G as passing tones in your triads. Also how would I add the pentatonic scale using my triads

This lesson was gold dust. Thank you so much for your generosity. It really shed light on to how valuable it is to know triads😀
