The fact that you can modulate anything in Bitwig is what makes it the best DAW , for me. It’s the most inspiring piece of software I have ever laid my hands on.

For me too! Love modulations and how every third party has the parameters mapped to macros

@@AlexReidStudios well, then... I guess my kink is hearing Spanish speakers say arpeggio with decent Italian pronunciation? Please make more videos where you say arpeggio kthx do you have only fans wait i didn't mean to type that

Great stuff as always, amigo.! One suggestion: to make modulations of Arp Note Types work (quarter to dotted quarters to swing etc) you could always throw a Quantize Module afterwards and modulate its Forgiveness param. This way you can control the rhythmic craziness you were battling with while also allowing for burst of semi-randomness. Nice way to alleviate that overly-robotic arp feel (if so desired). 👍

Thanls for the tip!I tend to forget some stuf lol. I love creating non straight rythms

The note repeat device also creates a lot of fun rythms. With the modulators and note grouos you gan get a lot of fun stuff too

Yeck yes! Bitwigs arp id an absolute powerhouse, but I did not think of using it as a polyrhythm (Euclidian) generation hub by putting it into an note fx chain. That tip would have saved me half a day on the note grid. Thanks!
@AlexReidStudios Жыл бұрын
I've been using less and less the grids thanks to the note containers

I get the mask as a sort of “gimmick”, but its really difficult to stay in an information-receptive state when confronted with it. It’s really, really, distracting and jarring. Can you maybe… not do that?

You speak too fast for a Frenchman, I didn't see any probability on Bitwig's arpeggiator, I use Stepic VST on Cubase which is powerful but also without probability. thank you for this video Merci Phil
