Michelle, you inspired me to embrace the natural messiness of my hair, something I’ve been fighting my whole life! Thank you!! I just had my six-month exam with my dermatologist and got my first prescription for Retin-A. Eeek! We shall see what happens! By the way, wanted to apologize for not subscribing. For my mental health, I had to remove all of my KZbin subscriptions. All of the notifications were making me absolutely crazy. I got off of Facebook a long time ago, and that helped, too. Love all your vids, Michelle. It’s amazing how we can transform our skin with consistent care. The only procedure on my radar is good ol IPL to tackle some redness and capillary issues. I watch all your videos and am a member of the Masterclass and really appreciate your sincerity and "keeping it real". I have a notebook and take notes! I started getting serious about skincare (I am 64 and through my life have kind of gone through stages of doing skincare for awhile and then not) because of watching you and use Sonia Roselli which I absolutely love! However, I am confused about when to use the snail mucin, does skin need to be moist when applying the mucin, or when to use something like Bakuchiol within the routine. Can you line me out on application series. I know thin to thick but with the water essence and water oil I get confused. Thanks!!
@maturemakeupmasterclass9 ай бұрын
Hey, great question! The Water Prep is so hydrating, not sure you need snail mucin OR use one for AM and one for PM to shake it up but I would do cleanse, water prep, Vit C, wait a minute, snail mucin and moisturizer but ONLY if you are dry. At night you can do cleanse, snail mucin, wait 10-20 minutes for skin to get dry, retinol or Tret RX, then moisturizer. Does that make sense???❤

I have very hooded eyes and they get worse as I get older. I was going to try Botox to see if that helps the hooded eyelids at all. I have heard it might help. Any suggestions? If you used the Retinol, would you do that before the water prep? How long do you wait after the Retinol to do the Water Prep? Does you skin need to be completely dry for that Naturium product? I have it but wasn't sure you needed to have dry skin for it.

Thank you so much for this updated video, Michelle! Two questions… I am getting ready to finally order Sexapeel. I’ve been using Cure gel but it is really messy and my hands and face have to be super dry for it to work. I’m not the best turning my shower in without getting my hands damp. Does the same apply for sexapeel or will it work on damp skin? 2nd, when you use your Retinal on dry skin, do you go back and use the water prep and then the water oil before the cream? Or do you skip those steps? Thank you! I love you and your videos!
@janedelaney43279 ай бұрын
Good questions
@maturemakeupmasterclass9 ай бұрын
Great questions, Sexapeel needs to be used on dry skin too. It’s the very first thing I do when I get in the shower before my face and hands get wet. As for Retinaldehyde, I cleanse, then essense (Water Prep) then I wait 10 minutes or more for skin to get dry! Then Retinaldehyde then moisturizer ❤

Your soo funny how you say, I only have Botox here, then you say, I have it here too but that's it, only in those places. Then you end up having it in quite a few more places, then you realize. Lol
@maturemakeupmasterclass9 ай бұрын
It’s so true! You caught me 😂 it’s in more places but because it’s such a small amount, I think it’s less. I never want a frozen face. I do a lot of “baby tox” which doesn’t last as long but is softer ❤

Hi Michelle! Can I ask where one can get the little cloth you used to dry your face after cleansing?
@maturemakeupmasterclass9 ай бұрын
Those little gray microfiber cloths come in an eight pack, and I get them on Amazon, they are in my storefront, but you could probably find them on your own. I just don’t know the name.

I just ordered exfoliate, essence, and snail mucin. I plan on doing 30% glycolic peel from platinum too. At 53 I’ve been using retin a for years. My question is with the peel can I continue retin a .1? I use twice a week presently. Thanks so much. I plan on doing stronger tca peel after I build. Thanks for any input.
@maturemakeupmasterclass9 ай бұрын
Always wait 3-4 days after your peel to use your Retin A ❤

Amazon. I will see if it’s in my Amazon storefront I can’t remember but it’s called an anti-wrinkle straw.

Michelle you mention a port what is the difference between the port and botox 😊
@maturemakeupmasterclass9 ай бұрын
Dysport and Botox are like coke and Pepsi, basically the same thing but different brands. Dysport is a bit softer, kicks in quicker, lasts longer, as told to me by injectors, and Botox is more frozen

All the young Seint ladies use the Cure water gel exfoliator. Have you tried that and is that another not-for-us- mature ladies?

New subscriber and just purchased your Master class. Do you wash your face before using the Sex Appeal?
@suanneamos44919 ай бұрын
Where in your routine at night do you fit the Sexapeel? I have all the Sonia Roselli but need to try using strictly SR and nothing else to see how it all feels. Having to add a new rosacea prescription gel in my AM routine and I’m thinking maybe after the essence and C…. Can’t wait to see your special videos on rosacea etc when they’re done! 😊
@maturemakeupmasterclass9 ай бұрын
Sonia herself has rosacea and also uses an RX and then her skincare which she developed to deeply hydrate without irritating rosacea skin! She’s brilliant! ❤
@maturemakeupmasterclass9 ай бұрын
Not positive but I would cleanse, Water Prep, then your RX, then Water Balm. I’m not totally sure about Vitamin C for rosacea but I will find out ❤
@suanneamos44919 ай бұрын
@@maturemakeupmasterclass If Sonia has rosacea herself then I’m definitely going to continue using the whole line and add in my RX and see how I do. I’m afraid to add in my Vit C and my two other Timeless serums because I feel like it would be overload. And using all one line sure is simpler!!

I've just found you recently and been binge watching your videos. I'm new to skin care! Never really been into it. I just turned 44, and can tell my skin is changing. I can see the fine lines, and I dont feel as firm. I just bought the sex a peel, the water elixir, and Paula's choice vitamin C. A question about the spf. Why should we wear it in the winter if we're not going outside in the sun? Also wanted to say I love watching you, and thank you for all the information. Ive learned alot.
@lbnaron9 ай бұрын
If you are outside at all, you should put on sunscreen. You can absorb sun rays through windows in your home or in your car. I try to put it on every morning if I plan to go out or not. Then, if I do fine. If I don’t, it doesn’t hurt anything. But all the great skincare in the world will just be wasted effort and money, if you don’t protect your skin from the damage sun will cause.
@maturemakeupmasterclass9 ай бұрын
Oh Ann!! I’m so glad you are here and you are such a good age to get serious about skincare and SPF. The daily UV rays hit our skin 365 days a year. If you stay in your house and you are never near windows, I suppose you could skip it, but it has become such a habit to me that if I have to run out and do an errand, I know that my skin is covered and safe while driving.
