Brilliant review 👏, This was so well done. So much story packed into so few pages. Brw..I disagree with you about Sparkplug. This was obviously written to make our young minds see two different points of view (something mostly absent in todays society). That is a good thing and it stuck with me. I also think this was a groundbreaking series because this was the first time I had seen a single father raising his child in a comic. We were never told what happened to Buster's mother but I always assumed see had passed away. Anyway..I love your reviews. They take me back. I am old enough to remember when Tarzan, Doc Savage, Shogun Warriors, Micronauts, Godzilla and Transformers all took place in the Marvel Universe. Sigh.........

@afroscifizianzcomix7836 I'm glad you enjoyed it, my friend 👍 thank you for stopping by 🤙I do give props to sparkplug. Was a positive enforcement for sure. I miss these days. I also miss being able to go to a 7-11 and grab Ghostbuster and Bill & Ted comics

It was the 4-issue mini-series that became an 80-issue mini-series. Back then, comics weren't afraid to use third-person narration and thought balloons to help tell the story. It pulled the reader into the story and gave it deeper dimensions. I suspect most modern comics are trying to emulate TV and film, and they won't use those storytelling techniques anymore. Which is stupid. Comics should be comics. They should embrace their strengths as a medium. I love the G1 Transformers toys, and I still have my collection on display. That said, I never figured out why Hasbro decided that the Ratchet/Ironhide design was worthy of a repaint, thus becoming two characters/toys. It's obviously the worst of the G1 toyline. In robot mode it doesn't even have a head. The designs for Wheeljack, Skids, Mirage, Tracks, Hound, and Jazz were all really good, but Hasbro never recolored any of them and made them into more characters. But for some reason, that terrible Ratchet design got the double treatment. Go figure.

@SamGuthrie1977 that's how I feel about the Marvel Legends Captain America/Bucky molds. Overly used with the shield hole in the back, and it's such a stiff mold. It needs to be retired. As for Comics, you are right on the money. I've noticed that a lot of modern books read like a screenplay. It really diminishes traditional art. Heartbreaking.
