All you need is an S ranked weapon fully levelled up with the perks you want and your character levelled in the 70's at least to fly through the game. A very enjoyable game despite the many playthroughs I have had to do to get the full 1000G

You can get better tech when you unlock magnus difficulties

when you bought devastation did you buy it on disc or by download? because I recently bought the dlc and downloaded them, but they won't install cause it says I don't have the game so it's making me buy the game on psn store when I already bought it on disc

You have to have the disc inserted in order to download dlc.

no the only dlc weapons are the dark star star saber the photob distrupter and the goulden hunters

Word of advice to anyone that's trying to level up weapons use the SynExp upgrade to get more exp each synthesis.

better yet level up a synth up item using whatever you want then use it as material for what you really wanted to level up without sacrificing it's abilities, material uses its own level as part of the calculation on how much exp the enfused item gets

Beat commander, then you'll unlock magnus difficulty. Then beat magnus to unlock prime

never have got the burn sword or the energon hammer . I got rare weapon drip chip +40% weapons drop level 2 and 3 and rare weapons drop level 2 and 3 on weapons . lucky you. also is the dcl worth getting do you get new weapon loot or new weapons in the store? .

Nope. Tried this 6 times last night and couldn't get above a c rank. The rares I'm getting are c ranks I've gotten two b ranks somehow. But no A ranks in sight. Got mostly junk from doing this, but better weapons from the side missions and loot crates. Wonder if its been patched during conversion (I'm on ps3) also not just that but my images actually look different, my swords are thinner and hammers don't have spikes etc.

Silly me, didn't realise you could change the difficulty of the challenge mode. I've now unlocked some of these weapons, they are obviously unique skins to high rank weapons. However I still can't figure out if A rank is the highest, or does it go up to S/SS rank weapons?

The skin he is using is nemesis prime and you only got it from pre ordering the game the same with a goldbug and prowl skin
