I feel like Chris Hemsworth works as a younger Optimus prime obviously he’s not the wise and bad ass autobot that we would know from the other films.

He does work, but considering how long Peter Cullen has been voicing that character, it’s hard to imagine anyone else. It’s like trying to imagine anyone else besides Kevin Conroy (RIP) voicing Batman in animation or video games

You know the first Michael bay transformers from 2007 was inspired and had better action and more engaging charachters and especially robot designs that looked fit for live action unlike rise of the beasts screw rise of the beasts im sure most agree with me that the transformers 2007 is better than ROTB and that back then michae bay understood transformers and he was respectful to its source marerial.

Michael Bay never understood Transformers, and has admitted several times he’s not a fan. If he did, each movie he made wouldn’t have focused on the humans or have stupid, childish, and sometimes offensive comedy.

The first one was a good movie though the humor wasn’t stupid and the charachters in it were compelling after all how would he say he doesn’t understand transformers if he made the 2007 film really really good wasn’t it later when he made the fourth sequal that he said he no longer understood transformers.

I won’t be doing a Transformers ranking…at least anytime soon. When I do these franchise ranking videos I prefer to do it for series that have either finished like the DCEU, Halloween, and the Fox X-Men series or are long dormant like Friday the 13th.

I got to tell you I like the first Michael bay transformers from 2007 better especially better than rise of the beasts one of them being because the robot designs looked convincing and realistic for live action the designs in rise of the beasts and bumblebee looked to cartoony and toyish.

That’s kind of a silly reason to hate Rise of the Beasts, especially considering that this series is based on toys and a hugely popular cartoon from the 80s.

Well the designs in G1 were cartoons and they should have just made both rise of the beasts and bumblebee into animated films not live action bassically what Michael bay was trying to do was turn transformers into a live action blockbuster that was more mature and was for 15-17 year olds while the G1 and the 1986 film were for little children.

I would also like to point out that Bumblebee and Rise of the Beasts are not connected to those other movies. They’re their own thing and in the same way it’s amazing to see a DC or Marvel hero’s design jump from a comic to live-action, it’s amazing to see those classic Transformers designs make the jump to live action

The marvel designs are nothing like them some cartoon charachter designs at least if they are robots are not fit for live action they don’t look realistic they would just look like giant toy robots I’m sure bay made the transformers designs different from G1 because of that that they didn’t fit for live action anyway I don’t care if original from 2007 had some human charachter screen time it was more like an ET approach to transformers rather than being transformers because it was about how transformers Came to earth after all it did have stuff to do with the cartoon because the opening narration explained about cybertronian and how they became enemies with decepticons because of how they wanted to get the allspark to destroy earth and the autobots didn’t want that so they came to protect them I loved the chemistry relationship between witwicky and bumblebee in that first film it was so heartwarming and they both felt for each other especially bumblebee with Sam as at the end he chose to stay with him.
