I'm finally back to review the final episode of Transformers Prime, "Deadlock"! In this episode, Optimus Prime and Megatron have their final battle as the Autobots try to stop the Decepticons from cyber-forming Earth.

SHES BACK!!! When I first saw this episode and saw Megatron kill bumblebee I was in shock and heartbroken is like “Optimus kill is monster once and for all” and when I thought Megatron got the upper hand I was in shock to see bumblebee was alive and struck the final blow on megatron, you can see in Megatron’s eyes that he was struggling to get up. I find a really poetic that Megatron took bumblebee’s life, his voice, his body and kill him all the way to bite him in the back. The mighty gladiator of kaon, lord of the Decepticons has finally fallen.

My favourite bit about the human companions saying goodbye: Miko, the girl who cannot shut up for 90% of the show, being as loud and in your face as possible... can't say anything and is just crying with Bulkhead. It's okay, I didn't need my heart anyway, doesn't do anything important anyway.

To be honest, I did not care for Friedle’s take on the character since it’s just his Batman Beyond voice. Also, having him back might cause trouble for everyone since he was in a scheme with Kim Possible’s VA in which literally involved making money from abuse victims in which was revealed in the documentary Quiet on set. And Will’s job didn’t even reel me in like Jeremy Levy’s, Bumper Robinson’s or even Johnny Long Bosch’s takes

There were episodes which were fillers, but some were really great, and Season 1 and 2 have had strong finales.

Wait. WHAT?! How, after the many times I've watched this episode and the Predacons Rising movie, have I never realised that was Will voicing Bee? I've picked up his voice multiple times over other animated projects, how'd I miss him here all this time?! I'll give myself leeway on not picking up on it with Batman: Brave and the Bold, as I wasn't a big fan of that series and he's clearly doing a lighter delivery for Blue Beatle, but how'd I miss him in Prime all this time til now?!

I just realized Beast Wars and Prime have something in common. They both had a horrible sequel series that basically ruined all the good their own finales established. Beast Wars: Megatron is finally defeated, only to not only escape but take full control of Cybertron in Beast Machines. Prime: Megatron disbands the Decepticons, the Autobots restore Cybertron, Predaking gets family and the chance for more with Shockwave's cloning tech only for Cybertron to be taken over by Decepticons posing as Autobots, the Autobots are exiled from Cybertron and Predaking losing Skylinx and Dark Steel to BS of Starscream finding ANCIENT weapons somehow still fully operational and obliterating the two Predacons with them in RID. Oh, and Starscream somehow manages to find Megatron's Dark Star Saber despite it falling to the bottom of the ocean alongside Megatron's body. Why does Transformers have this horrible habit of following up great shows with more horrible sequel shows that basically nullify everything good achieved by the end of the original show? Even Armada had this happen to them, with Starscream going from the amazing character he was, even sacrificing himself in order to make Megatron understand that Autobots and Decepticons HAVE to work together to stop Unicron, only for him to come back from the dead ij Energon and become a brainwashed servant to Megatron again. WHY does that keep happening?🤦‍♀️
