the only issue with mass-shifting is they forgot to give it some kind of drawback to make up for how insane it is. Like yeah you can shrink down so your altmode is a better disguise / weapon for one of your allies, but it drains your energy or something..

Its unfortunate none of you guys on that podcast yesterday know much about Energon. The sword from that show technically belonged to Megatron, but was reverse engineered and was most often wielded by "edgy Spike" aka Kicker. Despite that sin, the sword had a really cool design and could be considered one I nabbed a dark starsaber off Mercari a few years ago for 3 bucks and found it scales pretty decently with Titans, although only the Scorpinok mold has the hand articulation to actually hold it in his claws without cheating with rubber bands or something. On the note of Kicker, Microman was rebooted at some point and they made a microman Kicker with the Energon Saber. I wish they'd make microman or Dianauts of Transformers humans to go with the bots. I'd love a Sari Sundac for my Legacy Animated Shelf, or T-AI. Unfortunately, I heard on the Slag Podcast that when he asked about the possibility, they claimed cartoon only characters like T-AI and the girl who was supposed to come with MP Lio Convoy are difficult because the rights are tied up with the people they contracted to make the shows.
