Love the white I had a 94 e.g. back in 98. Then I totaled it😢 2 years later. I just put on 17" MHT E-tunes 5 weeks before 205-40-17R, smoke headlight covers, the eibach springs. She was my baby.💯🔧🚗🏁®

I Love you Guys! Seeing how y’all are with eachother and not cheap. You guys buy Nice stuff for each other that you probably want for yourself. I know a lot of people that would Never spend over $100 on me. But before my Injuries, when I was still active Army making good money. I’ve bought a friend a car, I gave 1 car to a friend No money down just had him take over payments in his name. I’ve bought parts for a friends car when I only had a Bike to daily for 6 years straight. I gave away my LS engine and my B16 head to first person to show up. I was raised to be happy with what I have and I had everything I needed back then. Now 9 years after I was medically discharged from my Army career ending injuries. I was evicted and forced to sell everything I owned almost to afford transportation to move, I’ve been fighting the VA for 8 years to get disability. I started to build the car 5 years ago and still can’t afford to finish it. I need a friend like you guys about this time. Lol. Nah, but one day a Blessing will come for me and I will get to drive my car again one day. Keep up the great content guys. 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌

one tip about the preloading the coils, where you said to snug em, typically you'll want 4mm of preload on the spring and send it, itll prevent any rattle and is a great way to make sure its even on all 4 corners

I got a 92 Cx. Same color as that same everything. It’s mostly original. A little rust but not much. I’m keeping it original with everything. I can’t afford a new car so I’m keeping mine maintained. 1.5 engine.

3k for the budget on parts, but how much for a 92 hatch in that condition. The real question is where are you finding these gems!!! Makes me miss my 92 DX hatch, my first car, had Tanabe G-Medallion exhaust, RS Akimoto (anybody remember these from back in the day), Eibach springs and LS mesh wheels. That thing was my baby, washed and detailed literally every Friday night before the weekend and riding up and down Westheimer (Houston boys know, Miami Subs) until the sun came up. Those were so,e of the best nights of my life. Very nice though, interested to see how far the build end up with this car.

Love this man, next up a budget d series engine build non turbo? Intake, exhaust plus tune. Or plus some secret sauce for a d series? I heard a d13 transmission had very short gear ratio's for fast acceleration. I used to have a eg hatch with a d16 swap but never got to finish the project i loved that car 😢. Im curious what it could have been if done right. The japanese d15 vtec was an amazing engine swap 2 but very rare and i think expencive these days

You said don't use aluminum lug nuts. I have never used them but was considering buying some because they look good, do they cause safety issues or just end up looking bad? Not sure what "messed up" means. The ones I am looking at say they are "forged AL7075".

they strip, sometimes break in half, its overall not a good lug nut, steel will be best

I have to get rid of my race car because I can't register it in South Texas. We have emissions testing for anything not 25 years old. Going back to Honda forsure. I had a 92 dx hatch and it was my favorite chassis forsure. Loved my db8 factory gsr but my hatch was more fun to drive. Gonna try to find a solid 92-95 hatch again. They're so responsive to simple stuff like this. Id like to j swap it at some point but I'm a solid believer in chassis before power. That white j32a2 nitrous hatch a while back was my inspiration to get back into Honda. We have an 03 TL type s as well that was a one owner California car garaged it's whole life. It's not perfect but it's really close.

CX trim doesn't come with moldings , so the model of the car will depend on if it has it or not

In the UK this car would be 8-10k to buy ( about 13k dollars) even stock with no rust. That’s how daft the prices on older civics are costing now. Mental. But the best civics they made are the eg5/eg6’s hands down.

For me the 3k spent isn't noticeable, I'd rather put that into painting the trim parts, wing, front lip, tint and finding any used wheels and paint them myself. For 3k I can make the whole car look better. It looks like u spent 3k on wheels which is dumb for someone really on a budget.

The CX is the only model with vinyl seats. All the other models had cloth seats. Leather seats would likely be dry and cracked after 30 years. I have this exact model and color.
