EJ/EK/EM1 have smaller or thinner thickness for the rear lower control arms. Tein have specific chassis coil overs. Either way, great job the low budget HB.

Since you asked what we would of done my answer is spend 75$ more for painters tape and a set of spray cans colored coded to match the black pieces to the rest of the car like the higher trim models

I'd have done it the same. Basically did with my old 99 cx ek, just didn't have the money for coilovers though. I did front and rear bumper lips though to match the black plastic side skirt. Also took off my factory rear mudguards and when I went looking for them years later I think my dad tossed em. Its crazy how we went from seeing these ek's and eg's all over and now they're super rare basically

I would have found an integra ls parts car and swapped the b non vtec, 4 wheel disc brakes, seats and cluster on to it. Then chop the springs. Keep Gunnin!

I would have done eBay turbo kit ($800) chipped p28 wheels and tires ($1000) (used) si rep grill with fog lights ($65) , try hart lowering springs ($120) mud flaps ($25) rep Red H emblems ($50) tints 20% ($50 installing them myself) skunk shift knob ($50) front and rear lips ($115 eBay specials) eBay cat back ($150) and the little left over for some NGK plugs and misc. bolts and clamps. Super riced out 🥢 but will have some fun

Should've got Function & Form Coilovers, they're pretty good and only $600, And wheels probably used would've saved some money for more mods. I remember back in like 2018 and before you could get a whole B series swap for 1000 or less. Mann times have changed

Shoot you should make it 4k and add a ebay turbo kit just to see. Thats what i would do. Cheap turbo kit. Then coils and wheels. Anything left over and im doing lips and ducktails

Super clean can't go wrong with that setup it looks great, another 100-150 rear replica wing your set. Remember guys doesn't take big money to make a car look good.
