Cool that the villagers spawned in the castle were spawned in a snow biome so they have different clothes, it makes them look like higher class than the normal citizens

THIS is a transformation done right! As you mentioned at the start, most "transformations" are more "build a slightly related thing over/around the original". You actually checked what worked, what didn't work, and what had newer/better replacements; you expanded the walls just enough to accommodate the new layout, you built new structures in the same theme to add to the ambience, and just generally did a great job. I will say that the tower doesn't fit; I expected a lighthouse or wizard's tower on a similar scale to the rest of the build and instead got a hundred blocks high hunk of stone.

the new layout is very good and more "oragnic" than the previous one, less square. suggestion for the tall tower : there are rock arches on shores made from erosion, you should make a stone structure ressembling an arch connecting the stone pillarunder the tower, made by erosion with a couple bit fallen down in the water, and you could put an amethyst structure at the base/under the tower to indicate it's technomagically supported as to not weigh down too much on the stone arch and make it crumble. for the amethyst structure i was thinking of something similar to the no man's sky logo

I love the new changes, it’s looking really good! If you were to expand it I’d recommend building beyond the walls into the countryside, there is a lot of potential out there.

Honestly I think this looks a lot more like a medieval castle then the first one. The location is perfect for the new castle. The design is amazing and beautiful. I would buy this place in IRL if it existed. I think adding to it would be great there's still so much you could do with it.

I'm only 5 minutes in, haven't even watched you building it originally, but you've put a lot of time into by the looks of things and the speed of the time-lapses. Good job! I constantly use the small square watchtower and the tavern from this book. Of course, I've modified and updated them to my own preferences and styles over the years, but the foundation remains the same. I'm glad to see someone else get good use out of this!

this is incredible, the only thing i would change is somehow incorporate lights on the outside of the large tower, that way it highlights the details with the incredible shaders at night time

It looks really cool! I'd love to see you expand the project even further. One tip I would maybe give is to expand the base stone pillar the tower stands on because it doesn't really seem like it would handle its weight. Either way incredible build!

Honestly I thought 4 years ago when we were getting the village and pillage update that we would've getting bigger villages like this too. I think it would be pretty cool if Minecraft added kingdoms to the game which would include a castle, walls, and villager houses. Oh and a use for the Fletcher table lol.

Amazing work Sbeev. Something I've been meaning to do, but never found the motivation, was to build all the structures and export them for load/paste into any world. Either through the use of the Structure Block or using a mod that adds easier to use import/export of builds (of which there are multiple, so I won't bother naming any)

idk if anyone noticed but this castle build has skyrims solitude vibes to it, all you really had to do is push the keep back further and add in a smithy & fletcher at the entrance to it and a barracks behind the smithy and across the keep.
