Now do an episode on cutting competitions, where an abid competition demonstrates/teaches proper firm, and technique. And sorry to say this, but this episode felt unfocused. There were long stetches where the guy was working on the blade by himself, with Brian and Murphy only popping in now and again. It just didnt feel like their hearts were in it, until they got to see the finished product.

So it depends a sword can be made by melting metal, a sword from the Viking age where melted down then molded in a sand form. But working metal is what most people do now. Japanese swords where folded do make up for how bad of steel they use. It depends on what it was and when it was.

When the Modern Rogue does bladesmithing, I get excited. That was awesome. Plus, as I’ve said before, it is really fun to see y’all do something I know a little about. I always enjoy the education of new stuff, but it’s fun to see y’all try your hand at something I am already a little experienced with. You should really take some bladesmithing classes. It is so much fun.

When Jason smelled the pillow and said "smells like you" was so adorable

Do the blades smell like peanuts after treating?

The last thing they'll think of before they perish is Peanuts.

Awesome episode. Also - Chris is a legit 100% certifiable bad a**. Has his own forge? Check Uses forge to smith blades? Check Attends Renaissance fairs? Check Smokes a pipe while quenching a blade? You better believe a check! Spoiler Alert - the counter didn't get reset?!?!? Bryan and Jason decided to behave this episode!

You should totally do a collab with Alec Steele.

It would be interesting to see who cuts themselves first...Alec, Brian, or Jason.
