How often do you get out to shoot? As I’ve mentioned, I work full time and photography is my passion project on the side, so weekends are usually when I head out-whether I’m feeling great or battling a cold! 🤧

As often as I can. I got the OM-5 because it's the ultimate cam for explorers and adventurers.

What amazing photos you took there! I would like to go out more, but sadly I don't have the time. Sometimes during weekends, and always on holiday trips I take photos. But later I just keep them in my computer because I don't have time to make an album or similar.

Thank you so much! I totally understand how tough it can be to find time for photography. I mainly shoot on weekends myself, and I always wish I could get out more, but daily life keeps me busy too. Lately, I’ve been thinking about bringing my OM-5 with my new 20mm Panasonic lens to work-you never know when a nice shot might appear! Even if it's hard to make albums, just having those photos on your computer is great for when you do get some time to go through them. Keep at it!

Nice video. Did you try LiveND in your OM-5? I assume you used a high ND value on your filter. Personally I've found liveND means I haven't had to carry filters around with me at all, but I have om5 and em1mk3 which has a higher ND stop in LiveND than the om5

Oh yes, I'm quite familiar with LiveND on the OM-5 now! For this video, though, I only used a physical filter since LiveND on the OM-5 maxes out at 5 stops. During sunset, LiveND probably would have worked fine, as it wasn’t too bright. But I mainly wanted to try out the new K&F filter as well. I haven’t found LiveND too useful during bright days like the afternoon I was shooting- even if I close the aperture to f/22, it’s still too bright. I also haven’t tried combining LiveND with a physical filter yet, but I don’t see why it wouldn’t work. 15 stops in my case wouldn’t be too shabby!

i expected to know your OM-5 setup, what wrong with OM-5 built in ND filter using external ND.
@jimmywestphoto4 ай бұрын
As I mention in another comment the built-in ND only goes to 5 stops. Even at 11 stops on the K&F filter at the sunset I had to be around f7.1 to be at correct exposure. Early morning or in the woods where the light doesn’t reach as much the built-in ND (LiveND) works perfectly. Also something I mentioned in the other post is perhaps it’s possible to utilize both a physical and LiveND for even longer exposures, yet something I haven’t got around to try though
