I did the same thing. Very many primers made their way into the track. Cut and install some covers to fit in where you don’t need the track available. A cool 3d print project. Otherwise very lekka!

I think we all want to be set up as well as Gavin. Good luck with the tat removal. Huge pat on the back to Bro for the handyman brother rescue!

Looking great Piet! Amazing how liberating this track system is eh?

Could you post the measurements for the location of the tracks (distance from edge of the bench to the first track and the distance between them)?

Highly recommend a Synology NAS... Basically your own in-house server, and you can set it up it up to be redundant across multiple hard drives.

Got the idea from Gavin as well and love it. Apparently it has been around in the wood working community for a long time. You can use a router and make you a notch in the track to drop in the t bolts

For so long I kept looking for your channel back form remembering your video after the riots in S.A. Glad to have found you again when looking up information about the nation!

@7:30 You can purchase 1/4-turn drop-in t-nuts. McMaster Carr calls them hammer nuts. Also set up your NAS in a raid config so if one drive fails, your data will be mirrored on another.

I went with 4 tracks rather than 2. I built a series of mounting plates for different items that i regularly mount to my bench. Case trimmers, vices, presses, all of it on aluminum plates. Also, rather than using the edge guide, it goes a lot faster with a couple simple guides, and a flush trim bit.

I built my reloading bench track system following Gavins bench too! Your final results look great!

Love your content 💪🏽 Someday please do a video on how you skin some of the animals, preserve the meat while in the bush, tan the hides etc. Sort of the background of all the stuff we don't get to see.

I did the Gavin Rail system a year ago. But I only did it on half the bench. That way I still have flat surfaces and scrap won't fall into the rails

I have a rubber mat that I cut to the dimensions of my bench. I also vacuum the tracks regularly.

Can't wait to see you build a gun room. Hopefully you'll do a series on it. It's something I am considering and I'm sure there are others on here interested. Would be great to get some ideas and knowledge on how to create a secure space where I can enjoy my precious babies.

Hi Piet, I have a question on the mounting system. I have a Dillon XL650 and a Ponsness Warren shotgun re loader, they have a very different foot print, would I be able to mount the 12Ga to it as well or is it only for Dillon type footprint?

Can I ask why you decided to get your tattoos removed? I’m sure they meant something to you originally. A few years ago I decided to get myself a chassis for my birthday and discovered your channel then. Your recommendation definitely helped me decide. Went with the MDT ESS for my Tikka 708 and have never regretted it!! Only regret not getting a folding stock. Also own multiple APW Warbirds and love them!! Much love from NZ!
