Transforming our Pool House | Zimbabwe Home Makeover

Check out my latest project around our house in Harare, Zimbabwe - I decided to transform our pool house space into a home gym and work area to better utilize the space!
Plant hangers, and patio furniture set / glass table with succulents are all from : Pretty Knotted Macrame based locally in Harare.

On a side note did you discard the old couch?or are perhaps selling it🙈 I had a young couple, friends of mine who were looking for a couch for their small space

Wooow this is fabulous Leah,you did such an awesome job you should consider getting into interior design as a side hustle, I think you are definitely gifted.Would you mind letting us know what the budget was,is this stuff generally affordable in Zim or would you say it's more on the expensive side?

Awh thank you for the kind words! Unfortunately not much in zim is affordable however if you’re willing to shop around and get some homemade furniture like I did you can get things much cheaper! The side desks, mirrors etc are all handmade locally! The gym pad floor I had to bring in from the UK. Exercise Bike was also a bit of an investment but you can get it cheaper if you import from SA. I am all about finding a bargain and trying to shop locally as much as possible! 😊

@@LeawithoutBorders Thank you for the response Leah.Am hoping to return to Zim soon so it's good to know sounds like best for us to move with our stuff rather than sell everything and try to buy there given its so expensive.I am a Dental Nurse in the UK and from your other videos you mentioned you are not practicing nursing at the moment in Zim as not the same,id imagine the salary not great either.Can you please advise on what you do if you dont mind,you mentioned you work from home?What are the jobs that one can do/find onlinethat pay a decent wage one can live on or can you advice on what type of business one can do to make a living that you think is thriving with low capital.
