Transforming Our Vintage Jürgens Caravan: A New Chapter in Our Homestead Journey

Hey Guys!
This week, Duncan and I are so excited to share with you our new (to us, previously loved) Jürgens vintage caravan!
This little caravan is a passion project of mine and plays a big part in our homestead dream.
Imagine having a tranquil hideout at the bottom of our garden for when guests come to visit or for when we just need a cosy retreat. It’s perfect
We’re still in the early stages of the caravan renovation, but I can already tell it’s going to be something special.
With a bit of paint, a good clean, and lots of love, we’re going to breathe new life into this caravan. In our journey to become homesteaders, while we remain focused on our backyard homesteading and urban homesteading, we don't want to let the opportunity pass us by to build another piece of our homestead puzzle.
This caravan matters to us because it’s more than just a project. It will provide a serene space for our visitors, offer us a comfortable retreat while we search for our dream property, and allow us to embrace tiny home living and sustainable practices through its renovation.
Plus, it’s a wonderful addition to our homestead, complementing our container orchards and container gardening efforts.
We can't wait to take you along on this journey. Our homestead awaits, and we’re so glad to have you with us every step of the way.
