I think this is the shortest boss run i did so far. Only 3 unique enemies. Still fun, though. Except for the final guy.
In the beginning of the final boss fight, the only way to stay unharmed, is if he uses Breach() + Flood() attacks. And there is, like, 1/20 chance he'll do that. Any other combination, and you won't be able to avoid it in time. Same with the rest of the battle, that's why i didn't give him a chance to attack me again.

Hot damn. Transistor is one of my favourite games, but I never thought it'd get the Gellot treatment. The first and second bosses, sure, but you had to play some mindgames to prevent the last one from getting a shot off. Well done. Right in time for Pyre too!

A far, far easier way to do Sybil is to lay out 2 Load packets before the fight. Kill the first phase instantly with those, use her respawn time to lay out 3 Loads. Detonate those to instantly kill the second phase, lay out 3 more Loads, then Turn, Load, trigger, and she's dead.

Another easy way to defeat Royce: *Purge()+Breach()+Crash(); Jaunt(), Mask()* (or *Mask()+Crash()* if you're playing NG+), and *passive Bounce()* as safety net. At the start of the fight, right after you dodge Royce's opening barrage, choose *Purge()* and hold down right mouse button. Self-guided missile spam will stunlock Royce via *+Crash()* while continuously applying damage over time and slow, and *+Breach()* adds enough distance to keep him at a distance. Just make sure you're up against a wall, since *+Breach()* modifier also makes *Purge()* knock you back a little. If Royce approaches you, quickly activate *Turn(), Jaunt()* away to the other side of the arena, and *Mask()* to make sure he can't use his *Turn()* on you as you recharge. If he actually does activate *Turn(), passive Bounce()* can save you from a couple hits and might even give you a chance to dodge the rest of them unscathed. You might also make EXTRA sure by equipping *passive Tap()* and giving yourself some extra health; otherwise, *passive Void()* will act as a handy damage buff without having to spend *Turn()* to apply it. And yes, same cheese tactic works for Agency tests as well.

The story is super vague and difficult to understand, if at all possible. I will try to explain it as best I can, as far as I understood if from hours of reading message boards (Spoilers Ahead!!!): Basically: The virtual city of Cloudbank is inhabited by "users" that upon "login" get to choose their skills and all eventually become respected members of the community, similar to a player in an MMORPG. The city functions through a voting system where everyone participates, and these polls determine what would be built next in the city. Once decided, the system, also known as the "process" builds the requested structures. However, some of the users start to notice a problem with this system: Given enough time, all the choices repeat in a predictable manner. Everything changes in a loop. This prevents anything remarkable to be achieved, which is evident by the lack of any recorded history of the city. Thus several members of the city come together to form the "Camerata" among whom is Royce. Royce somehow manages to get his hands on the "Transistor" which basically allows him to manipulate the city at will, given that the Transistor has the necessary functions in it. Armed with the Transistor, the Camerata formulates a plan: They would seek the most influential members of the community, erase their avatars by downloading them into the Transistor and use their skills as functions to manipulate the city. Thus they would ditch the whole voting system and form an elite class, themselves, to decide what should be built. In their eyes, this would allow actual change and progress to be made. When the Camerata decides to assimilate Red into the Transistor in order to get their hands on her ability to manipulate the people (through her emotional songs), one of the members of the Camerata; Sybil, is in great distress. Because she happens to love Red (either platonically or not is up for debate) and doesn't want to see her avatar gone. Thus, knowing that Red is in love with the narrator (also known as "Blue" or "the boxer" due to the handwraps), she decides to save her and get rid of her lover by lying to the Camerata. She tells the Camerata that Red would be alone on the stage, tricking the Camerata to target the lover instead. Once the Transistor hits the Narrator; things go haywire. You see, the narrator made no skill selections upon logging in. In fact, it is hinted that he didn't log in through conventional means to begin with. He might have hacked himself in, or not, but regardless, trying to assimilate him into the Transistor causes it to glitch out. The Camerata loses control over the Transistor. The Transistor likely resets itself. Since the Transistor was used to manipulate the city using the process, the process is left with no orders but to reset everything. Hence why they immediately start deconstructing the city; and the citizens with it. Red, now in control of the Transistor, has lost her voice during the glitchy assassination attempt, which appears to have been absorbed into the Transistor, along with her boyfriend. Red sets out to take out the Camerata, which she believes is responsible for the deconstruction of the city, only to find out that they took themselves out over guilt. The only remaining member is Royce, who convinces Red to collaborate in order to stop the process. Once the process is stopped, she and Royce has to wrestle control over the Transistor, which Red wins. Unfortunately she has nothing left but a desolate blank city, so she chooses to assimilate herself into the Transistor in order to be together with her boyfriend. Now, with all that said a bunch of stuff is still left unexplained: Who is the lover? Is the recursion (new game plus) canon (It was in Bastion)? How did Royce get his hands on the Transistor? How did Red really lose her voice? How come the lover knows so much about the Camerata and the Process (albeit somewhat misinformed)? What exactly happens in the bossfight? Where is the bossfight? What is the "Country"? If these people are "users" then where are their actual selves? Why are there people inside canisters in the bossfight? How come Red's songs seem to be about the Camerata's plot? I desperately want the developers to come out and explain the entire story, at least give us a hint on whether or not we are on the right track.

Mickey the Maniac There's also some theories that the robots are supposed to do their jobs as efficiently as possible. Since everything is constantly changing, the robots are constantly doing work. However, since the Transistor loses its grip, the robots realize in a sense that the most efficient way is to get rid of humans since they constantly add work, and that's why they make their own "Man" and "Young Lady". However, in the end this means that the robots will no longer have a purpose and probably just shut down (if it wasn't for the ending).

It's doable on Patapon 2 with the exception of a few bonus bosses and the last boss using an archer treepon hero and greater thunder equips. You just perma-stagger things to death and it would be incredibly boring to watch. God I should replay the Patapon games...

The game focuses deeply on the atmosphere. If you play it without paying attention, you won't know what's going on at all, but if you look around and focus onto what the bosses are saying, what Mr. Nobody is saying, and what other characters say/type you'll learn and explore how the world works. And how everything went completely and terribly wrong. The same people created the game Bastion, which while Bastion seems on focusing on hope and recreating/saving the world, this game focuses on the fall/deconstruction of the world. Ironically, Bastion's world started off flawed and they attempted to save it, here the world started off perfect and they ruined it. I won't spoil anymore of it, but the game is fantastic, you should play it, immerse yourself.

though FTL is a game, where you are not supposed to be able to take no damage, I believe after a infinite number of attempt you can have one where foe miss you all the time (because whether of not you dodge is a dice roll) and you have good gear.

Fairly sure it's possible provided you have loadout that is stupid enough. Cloaking and hacking systems plus a pair of good beams could be able to achieve if you use that trick which allows to hit the same room several times. There are other things that can help to do this more reliably. Or, indeed, you can just be lucky enough, especially when it comes to those missiles that get through your defense drones or whatever else you use. Pretty sure I've seen in few times.

Krisna Yosep I looked at the wiki and it goes like this: There is a group called camerata that wants to change the town into their processed computer beings in order to control it or something. Red is an artist an she is against camerata openly. Because of this camerata goes to Sybil and asks where to find red and then processes her. They find red and try to kill her with the transistor, a device capable of stealing consciousness, so they can process her. When they try to kill her her companion jumps in front and gets killed instead. Red tears her gown for mobility and wears her companions jacket and starts to run away where she finds a dead body with the transistor in it. Transistor stole the man's consciousness and talks to her via the device. Red has her soul stolen by the camerata and wants justice. They battle trough the processing and kill the members of the camerata. She brings justice to the town and has nothing else to do so she goes to the man she first found and sits beside him where the transistor keeps saying no don't do it. She wraps the man's arms around her and kills herself with the transistor in order to get inside the transistor where all stolen people are in. The man is revealed to be her liver and the ending credits feature male vocals for the first time. I got goosebumps while writing this.

Unless you equip passive Ping(), which makes it viable to not use active Jaunt() whatsoever and frees it up as modifier or another passive. Especially if you also have passive Breach() to give you even more Turn() time.
