Thankyou so much for this video. Never gave the ignition switch a thought..Really hoping this is the problem I got. Hopefilly a final cheap fix after loads of not cheap trial and errors. Hard trying to find what's wrong these days without diagnostic equipment. 👍👍

Hi Sam Glad you found the video useful. I still have an issue with my van starting while the engine is hot (with the temperature gauge in the middle position) It starts back up once the temperature gauge starts to drop. I am still trying to work out what is causing this.

@@ianwheeler7903 Just some ideas and some stuff I have read: Check out the cam and crank position sensor and the wiring to it - For some reason this has worked for some people. Coolant temperature sensor would make sense if its reading wrong and not allowing the fuel for hot start.. Sometimes the actual starter motor can apparently draw too much when hot and the ECU loses power altogether. Low injection pressure. Air in fuel system. EGR stuck open. Has your engine had a timing chain kit yet?
