It's always interesting to see which cards people consider to be keepers and which ones they'll cancel. Thanks for the info + video!

Sometimes it depends on the purpose, but the $95/$99 annual fee hotel cards are keeps due to their value

Great video. Once I retire, i plan to slowly cancel the amex platinum cards. That point will be the time to start asking for retention offers to eat into those annual fees while canceling/downgrading cards simultaneously.

The day i retire (in 9 years) im gonna dread downgrading and cancelling cards. Still trynna decide on what im keeping at the end of everything. Amex plat might be 1k per year by that time

what cards would u keep forever? For me, Hilton Aspire and Ritz Carlton are a gem to hold for life

@@OK-Travels as of right now, the CSR both freedoms, and the hyatt card. Maybeeee the amex platinum, still not sure about that one

Of course all my aspires, delta cards etc will just get downgraded to the no fee cards. I’ll only cancel my marriott card as of now but ill transfer the credit over to a hilton card first before losing that credit account

All Citi cards with AF are waived. I have both the old Prestige and Premier and they waived. The Strata Premier is a keeper card due to its earning categories/low AF.
