Really interesting to know that this song is in the Nzema language. I love the way you translated the song and now I have a clear description of this song. Now I know that Meiway and I have the same taste of women..........lol 😂 . I never new that NZEMA is also spoken in Ghana, that is interesting to know.

However, the melody is infectious. Thank you for the great translation - I now have a better understanding of it. I hope you grow up to be a linguist ( assuming you are still growing up 🤣😂).

4:27 In the context, " I want to dance" makes more sense than "I'm dancing" . He would like to join but he can't because he's old now and can't get (it) up anymore. So he's looking for his lost cane. The cane has a double meaning.

As an bad Agni speaker, it's thanks to you that I'm finaly able to understand what Meiway sings, when you says it, in Nzema (because, as I told you in your video on Zoblazo, these both dialects of Twi are close each other) But as a man, I guess you know that in the first hours this song got aired, I quickly caught these verses: "ô gnôflan béblébé" and "ô boutouman yi bè bo" 😀😀😀 May I have the favour to get these song translated (or just read in Nzema; it would be enough): -kzbin.info/www/bejne/fputlKKjgt2lY9ksi=SlkLmW01aPyn4sU4 (Maguy) -kzbin.info/www/bejne/rpPEY5SYdsiGoMksi=HqPlHudN-cCUulv5 (M'mapa) ? -I just understand the first phrase in Maguy (Maguy, why didn't you tell me about your departure for Europe? if you just talk for the rest of this song in Nzema, I'll understand but Twi of course and colonial translation would also be appraciated) Thanx in advance.

@@queenquayson I think I have a clue for: "ô bo a ti koundouman oh (oyé)" "koundouman" in Nzema sounds like "cô-ndôman" in Agni which means a bite/mouthul, like a bite of rice for example. so if i'm right, "ô bo a ti koundouman oh" could be translated as "your butt is delicious" or "you're asslicious", "you're hotter"...

He was not saying old lady but he said he isn’t looking for a slim lady ( raal3 nwealenra ) but a lady with a good structure. My advise is you need to understand the words well because you missed out small 😊
