I was living in San Diego when the tour came through. I went very early to the stadium and was one of a dozen people waiting for the gates to open. It was a sunny day and it was like a festival but just waiting around on the field for the bands. I got so sunburnt. De La Soul, The Sugarcubes, and PIL played before NO. I wound up near the front right speaker stack. Unforgettable! Life changing!

10/10 Elizabeth Hulker & Co. A sonic scrapbook that's evoked a mental videologue. Peter Saville produced a panoramic foldout product, meant for a USA tour, which had the same result as the first Factory yellow/black/white poster, only some were up when the gig dates were, the Peter Saville NewOrder product was also very nearly after the fact.

Been a New Order listener since Joy Division, don’t believe all the self effacing words in their interviews , more to these guys and gal than they reveal . Factory records were run by situationists , a non violent anarchist movement from the 1960s. Whatever the true New Order is , they wrote some of the best creative songs since The Beatles , David Bowie , Pink Floyd .

When I started listening to this series, I thought it's kinda "trailer" for something, but after 10 minutes it was weird, so fragmented, when it will start finally? :-) But I am enjoying it now (more), so thank you.

There's good stuff in here but fuck me it's difficult to listen to. When someone mentions a phone do we really need the sound of a phone in the background? Car... sound of car... The narration... Jesus it's like listening to an episode of Playschool.
