This is so helpful! Soundtrap did add 808s but I don't think you can do earrape/distorted ones (XXXTENTACION/RonnyJ/Ski Mask style). Maybe you could figure it out? I'm working on it, but I'd love to see if you can figure it out.

I have used soundtrap and switched over to a real prgoram, like ableton, Soundtrap is great and has great instrumental, but when relating and comparing their for example trap drums its not so good, I would recomennd them people using soundtrap to download like one file with one shot 808s, clap snares or other stuff, DO NOT DOWNLOAD any zip file, it wont work in soundtrap, just a strong recommendation

You can use your own files in this website and make pretty decent beats. Just download some free drum kits from KZbin or other websites and there you go. This also allows you to add a lot more variation in your drums, use more trap sounding sounds, and overall make your beats sound much better.

Yu will definitely not see this but for the piano, once a bar finishes, it automatically loops and i can only fit eight keys in before it loops

Hey @The Birthday Brothers Great vid, awesome beats! I also have soundtrap premium, but if I make anything complicated, when I save it it gets all messed up and out of sync, I have to keep it to only a couple loops in order to get a clean audio save. Any solution would be greatly appreciated, I’m hoping I didn’t waste my 1 year subscription 👍

Try learning how to quantize or try logging in to Soundtrap on a friend’s computer to see if that makes a difference. I used to have a chrome book and now I have a regular laptop. I can tell regular laptop works better. Elaborating on quantizing- make sure every note is inside lines, and all the way up to the line. No space between your note and the nearest line. Make sure your loops are either 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, etc. bars long. That way the beat will always match it. Also piano lessons and music theory knowledge will help tremendously. I hope this was somewhat helpful

I was looking at this software and do they make a one-time pay version or is it a subscription? I'm getting back into beat making after about 15 years of not doing it basically raising my daughter working not having time and everything has changed from the equipment to the programs to the PCs and I'm going to be running and a Kai MPD or something like that midi if not what would be a good program to make beats like jelly roll upchurch struggle like that country hip hop trap specially up church or Adam Calhoun any of those dudes those beats are all slapping I don't know who makes up churches beats but I haven't heard a bad one yet I just found out about him about a year ago and he's amazing he can sing and rap they all can but anyway I'm just going to be using a mini probably software and my laptop but I need something that'll work with that that isn't a monthly fee that I can get back into the group of but don't want it to be beginner package it don't take me long to get back into it it's just everything as much smaller now the Akai MPD is about the size of a tablet back in the day I had the rolling TR 808 and the Akai NPC 2000 I believe it was it was huge they both were now the equipment is miniature they make a miniature 808 I'm going to pick up eventually as well I might just pick that up instead of the acai because it has on board beats loops and all that and you can import stuff straight to the equipment and I believe to the banks but there's no kit on any program I've ever heard but there might be newer ones out I'm sure but can compare to the 808 or the 909 those kids but mainly the a08 those beats slap good video though I was looking at this program but I'm not trying to get into something with a monthly fee I would have pay it one time overall fee download it have it on my computer and just be able to plug in the MIDI or at least program it if it'll hold so I can take it on the go without the computer but even if I do have to use the computer it's so thin in the midias so tiny but it wouldn't be a problem keep up the good work I'll check out your videos to see if you review other programs or do other things with any other music equipment I can't make a music just by using a computer I tried that before and it drove me crazy I even tried to use the touchpads on a tablet and it just didn't feel right it wasn't as accurate and they weren't pressure sensitive like the acai and all the other nicer drum machines that the harder you press the more of a angry role you get and I can't believe the MPD is only 99 bucks and it's a great value I'm sure you've heard of it but I just seen it the other day after I was thinking about getting back into beats after playing with an apple on my phone but I couldn't use the app so I started looking it drum machines stand alone and middy's anyway great video thanks for the info I'm going to keep looking around at gear anything you can recommend under two $300 that has on board music and you can bring it straight on to the machine with storage let me know I'm not familiar with today's equipment I have to familiarize with it all I could go back and buy old used stuff that I used to own but has an old hookups and all that it's just not the same as the new especially the Roland miniature drum machine does everything the full size scent does but sounds better thanks

While in the piano roll, zoom in with the magnifying glass in the bottom right corner. Or change the tempo. The default it 120 bpm. I changed mine to 145
