We shot this on the Canon XF405 and XF705 cameras. Both have infrared recording capabilities. Two small infrared lights were used in the studio, that's why you'll notice shadows! Infrared light is invisible to the human eye. The footage came out black and white, but we added a green tint to it in post-production so it would be more recognizable as night vision footage. Enjoy!

The couple who were really happy to get it out in the open were really charming. They were both kind, sincere and patient people, and it really melted my heart when they kissed. It was really lovely. I send a million blessings to these two lovely people hoping they have a wonderful relationship and remain as kind to one another as they were here in this video. The other couples had some awkwardness, and I think the darkness caused some discomfort for them, as would knowing the cameras are there. We are all comfortable sharing positive information with the world, but when the interaction is more difficult, I think the situation with the cameras and the darkness imposed a lot of inhibition.
