104F August Heat....Time to Start Thinking About Trapping Season?
YOU BET! Trapping season will be here before ya know it!!!
Beaver Tail Oil is attractive to almost every Predator. Beaver Castor is attractive to all the rest, incuding other beaver. They are a very useful animal to the trapper....
Enjoy!

Morning 👋🏻 The lumpy burrow’s hair looked good. Miss Cindy brushed him out nice. He might not like the saddle, but if it works, it works. Hurricane 🌀 Debby is heading NE, & she’s moving slow, & dumping a lot of water. We got almost 8 inches by last night. The sun is out today. Have a great day ❤

HOLY MOLY! I can't imagine 8 inches of rain! Here, an 8 inch rain would mean one drop every 8 inches!!! I'm glad to hear you folks weathered the storm! Literally! He does look a lot better without that loose hair. Yesterday he rolled onto his back, but was able to get back up again. Maybe he's getting better!

Good morning Gary. Yes, season is quickly approaching! I didn't make any beaver oil this year as I still have about half a gallon from last year. Does work good though. It draws in just about everything. My dandelion wine is finally done and it is delicious! Fairly potent though, lol. The fermentation process took 2 months. I'm going to start another batch, maybe rhubarb. Have a good day my friend.

It is. It's hot now, but will be snowing again before long. GREAT! That dandelion wine is good! I was surprised how long it took to ferment also. Most wine is quicker than that. @MuskratOutdoors
@MuskratOutdoors Ай бұрын
That might help, but it's fatty tumors that are causing the problem. They are hard deposits that won't go away. Part of the problem is in his breeding. He's half regular burro, and half mini burro. Those mini's are strangely built, more dwarf like. The lady we got him from fed him a lot of grain when he was young causing those fatty tumors.
