Rich, when fleshing a otter, I first flesh from the shoulders down, then when that is completed, I then turn the hide around placing the mouth of the otter over the point of the beam, then push the otter skin down the beamuntil you come to the fleshed shoulder, then begin fleshing backwards to the head, the thick neck grissil comes off easy.

No my "trapping shed" area is part of a much bigger shop. It is 2x6 walls on a slab on grade. I thing you are referring to my meat hooks. Lots of game has hung there! LOL

Actually they are cut from 14" pvc sewer pipe! I make them in various sizes.

In Washington we can only live trap and the rules make it tough to even pay the expenses of trapping. At least that’s my luck.
