We had one of the things you were trying to figure out! It was used when you took your laundry out of the washer o an outside clothesline. It opens with the !metal frame in an x shape. The fabric hung down in a U shape in the middle. That's where your wet clothes went. There was a pocket for clothes pins!! You could keep it folded with your wet clothes in to carry them out to the line. Some had wheels also. It worked a lot like the older knitting holders that one to an x😁

Well on to the next bag you find,the first thing you pulled out was a laundry hamper, put your dirtys in and easy to take them to your laundry room, these may have been used before baskets. Your soda not sure about it, never heard of it. Always enjoy what ever you take out of your treasure finds. The skirt you took out with the buckles looked like it was a wrap around skirt from the 70s. I used to have one that had ties. Just around the corner there's more treasures to be found. Until next time.

I think the last dress item, blue and orange is a mini dress, baby doll style. Very popular in England and then it came here. Twiggy modeled them. They were very short indeed and you had to practice how to sit in them much like with bustles in the 1800s. Different problems but it involved not flashing your knickers. The long wool skirt item looks like a dressy casual style popular in the 60's. Worn for cocktail parties, patio gatherings and other dressy but formal events. They were typically worn with single colored silky tops with long sleeves and often a wide belt. If it was warm they became portable saunas. Lord they were hot.

This is my theory on this bag. They were cleaning out a closet where the daughter left her old clothes since they are 70’s era clothes. Stashed up on a shelf in the closet was the Faygo pop. I think everything in this bag belonged to the daughter. Makes me wonder how much stuff I left at my parents house when I moved out 🤔.
@deliveryguyrx4 жыл бұрын
I'm a stinker for even thinking this,but do you think the daughter was using the Faygo red pop as a mixer for some vodka she snuck in her room years ago? That would have been something my gang would have done at the time,lol.

You look so pretty in the blue T-shirt. Jewel-tones will bring out your eyes more. But as far as color charts go, you tend to like the earth-tones. We used to go to "parties" back in the day to find out what colors look good against our complexions. I think the wrap around skirts gave women a little bit of room in case the waists were a little bit broader.

Again only One Shoe! Now With the Faygo I’m thinking she was a one legged juggalette 😃 Faygo is THE drink of the ICP ( insane clown posse) and I bet some juggalo would buy those bottles and if marketed right you might be surprised Years ago I bought some old empty bottles of patent elixir bottles looked like they never had anything in them. We were doing an antique show and I thought they would sell better if they were filled so I filled them up with some ice tea At the show this guy picks one up reads the ingredients and said “ I bet this stuff would kill you quick” I told him “Nah, I’ve drunk it, gives you a little kick”...with that I unscrewed the lid and chugged half the bottle down This guys eyes get big and tells my wife that I’m going to die...she said good thing I got insurance on him
