Kyoto is a city that wants all the tourists (and their money), yet refuses to invest properly in the infrastructure to handle them.

The problem is that adding modern infrastructure will kill a lot of the charm of the city whihc is this place that's still super tradiditonal and not modernize, and that's the reason people go there, so is just a weird case of yes it will help, but also can be a detriment.

They could Kyoto fix pretty easily by drastically removing car traffic from the eastern parts of the city. One of the reasons why it feels extremly crowded, particularly around Gion is simply because you have like 90% of the sapce taken-up by road.

I wouldve never thought Joey played SC2. As someone who tried to go pro in that game, yeah it takes a shitload of time. It is insane. After I was done with school, I pracitcally couldnt keep up anymore. Being good at starcraft is basically a fulltime job

I loved New York, i have never been in Ibiza, but i don't care about night life so i will probably never go, i liked La Vegas it hasa ton of stuff to do outside of casinos, and LA sucks.

I live in NYC, so I’m used to it and avoid the tourist areas (never ask a New Yorker to go to Times Square without a very good reason) except like Chinatown and the Brooklyn Bridge/City Hall area since I work over there, and the occasional trip to the Javits Center (cons galore) and Herald Square and Bryant Park and Union Square and Columbus Circle and Penn Station because there’s good food (and a bunch of subway stations I need to use) over by there. LA I’ve only been to twice, once for Jeopardy and once for AX, and I kinda want to go back again both for the con and to see more of the city (and try some better food there). Vegas has some good food, but the gambling I could take or leave. Yes, I like to eat.
