If it really is the norm that xqc just doesn't show up to events (especially of this size) without any sort of explanation or heads-up, just cuz he didn't feel like it that morning, then I'm really surprised that there's still anyone counting on him or even associating with him. His content is one thing, I'm not the target audience but many others are, however one would expect a tad bit more professionalism from literally the biggest streamer on Twitch. If he's as incapable of managing his time and schedule as he claims, and has even the smallest bit of intention to change it or remorse about it, then for the love of God just hire a manager. It's inconveniencing others and will also bite him in the ass when people just stop trying to organize anything around him.

I dont know why ludwig tries to depend on Xqc at all anymore. The guy is clearly the biggest flake. The only reason I can see wanting him to be there is because he is massive on twitch which is a big reason to want him but when he is this unreliable and could possibly ruin a million dollar event its just not worth it. As a melee player. Ludwig will probably forever be "the editor of the reads" or "slimes friend" to me. But watching him grow since he was just lightly known by the smash community to what he is now has been incredible. I will always remember the first time I saw him stream. He had like 600 viewers. I think he was playing mario 64 and I joined and immediately asked "who is ludwig?" Just kinda confused because he was growing super fast. Then I finally recognized him from the reads and smash summit stuff and it surprised me. Twitch viewers did it right by discovering gold with ludwig. The guy seems to be a truly good guy bringing his friends up with him. NOT ABANDONING SMASH. And constantly growing youtube to new heights without any real help from youtube, at least that we can see.

His Unprofessionalism will be his curse when he will still do that. But at the time... I'm glad he (xQc) didn't come though, Connor's fight with Ludwig made it more hype, and intense at the same time. Which kinda says what kinda person xQc is in a long term.
